Our History

In August 2002, Executive Director Dino Davis and Assistant Director, Dr. Curtis Keith founded Quality Living Center (QLC) with the vision of assisting individuals battling addiction. They began by opening a small facility on Cedar Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. Recognizing the growing need for comprehensive treatment services, QLC expanded its operations and, in April 2003, obtained 501(c)(3) nonprofit status to facilitate tax-deductible donations.

By May 2006, QLC acquired and commenced renovations on the main building at 3925 Asher Avenue, which now houses administrative offices and accommodates up to 75 male clients. The original Cedar Street facility was repurposed to serve female clients, offering space for 20 individuals. Further expansions included the purchase of a five-unit complex at 5210 Mabelvale Pike in August 2008 and an auto detail shop at 4021 Asher Avenue in May 2009, providing residents with vocational training opportunities.

In September 2007, QLC became a licensed transitional living facility through the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections. By September 2011, the organization achieved licensure as a drug and alcohol treatment facility by the Arkansas Department of Human Services Division of Behavioral Health Services.

Today, situated in the heart of Little Rock, QLC operates as a multi-unit facility with accommodations for 20 women and 75 men, offering a range of services designed to support individuals on their journey to recovery.
